21 years of experiments on the agronomic use of digestate: here are the results
Anaerobic digestion
In Emila-Romagna (northern Italy) twenty years of experiments on the agronomic use of the digestate were carried out, with very satisfactory results. The digestion sludge, in liquid form, dehydrated and composted, have led to an increase of organic matter and soil fertility, to a greater carbon capture, to a reduction in erosion and much more.
