The “Farm to Fork” strategy and bioenergy: Web Talk with CIAC, the Italian Consortium for Circular Agriculture
Market and policy
The “Farm to Fork” strategy is the ambitious legislative proposal developed by the European Commission to promote a more sustainable, healthy, social and ethical food system. The various objectives of the initiative include a reduction in the use of pesticides, phytopharmaceuticals and antibiotics, an increase in areas cultivated based on the organic agriculture principle, the use of digital farming and precision farming techniques and, of course, the promotion of bioenergy. We took a close look at the subject with the Director of CIAC, the Italian Consortium for Circular Agriculture, organisation that supports operators in the sector in the implementation of these changes, laying the groundwork for the agriculture of the future.
