USA and the future of biogas: potential is found in the "carbon negative" agricultural model
Research
Professor Tom Richard of Penn State University studied the Italian model of Biogasfattobene to determine that it could be exported to the USA, where its potential could exceed 20% of fossil fuels. The future of American biogas therefore lies in the opportunities provided by biomethane, whose incentives are 10 times higher than those of fossil fuels, as well as the "carbon negative" agricultural model, though which it is possible to actively isolate carbon and enrich the soil with nutrients, rendering it more productive and resilient.
