Food-Fuel: what synergies can emerge?
What is biomethane/RNG?
The fact that agriculture also supplies non-food products is nothing new. One example is the use of agricultural raw materials in the production of biofuels. The food-fuel conflict has existed for years and the debate still rages on. But has the production of biofuels based on agricultural products really had a negative impact on food availability and prices in Europe? Or has it, on the contrary, brought major benefits to agriculture? Luc Vernt, co-founder of Farm Europe, answers these questions.
