China, India, Southeast Asian and Latin American countries: the future of biogas is here
Market and policy
If until recently it was European countries, such as Germany, that stood out in the biogas sector, today the most promising opportunities for development of the sector can be found primarily in India, China and in Southeast Asian and Latin American countries. It is here, in fact, that ambitious zero emissions (or carbon neutral) targets by 2050 were announced, which will only be achieved by acknowledging biogas and biomethane plants with an extremely high level of environmental protection.
So what awaits us in the near future? We discussed this with the executive director of the World Bioenergy Association in this Web Talk.
