Separate collection of organic waste, bioplastics and biogas: a new Web Talk with the Italian Composting and Biogas Association (CIC)
Landfill and Waste
The Italian Composting and Biogas Association, made up of more than 120 consortiums, is an Italian organization that promotes the recycling of the organic fraction of by-product waste. In this Web Talk we discussed the separate collection of organic waste in Italy which, with approximately 60 plants dedicated to the production of biogas from organic waste (of which 13 for the production of biomethane), can boast the title of European leader in this field.
We also talked about bioplastics, in other words compostable plastics. Learn more in the video.
