InterEuropol, one of Europe’s leading bakeries, has installed a wastewater treatment plant. What’s so special about it? The use of a technology with an anaerobic gas filtration stage followed by an aerobic post-treatment stage, to optimise biogas production and reduce sludge production. The technology won the ADBA award this year for innovation in sewage treatment through anaerobic digestion.
