Aptunion is a company located in the heart of Provence, specialised in the production of fruit-based pastry products, such as candied fruit. The company is equipped with a water treatment plant used for fruit processing and an anaerobic digestion plant that produces biogas from sewage sludge. Around 140 m3 of the 230 m3 of the biomethane produced by the plant is then injected into the gas grid! The technologies used, the required investments and the expected revenues of the Aptunion project are explained in this video interview.
