Case history
The city of Nova Iguaçu (Rio de Janeiro) installed 12 engines powered by biogas from landfill to produce clean energy. The plant, with a total installed capacity of 17 MW, can satisfy the energy requirements of about 65 thousand households, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! In this time-lapse video we can see all the various construction phases.
