Caviro Extra's journey into the world of sustainability continues. In addition to producing biogas and advanced biomethane from the waste of the processing of winemaking by-products and from the wastewater of agro-food companies (as we were told in THIS interview a few years ago), new virtuous projects have been launched. In fact, in 2020, the total recovery and purification plant of CO2 resulting from the biomethane production process (7 thousand tons produced) came into operation and a plant to liquefy the biomethane will soon be in operation as well, in order to fully exploit it for use in transport. The development of a new composted soil conditioner, produced from digestate and other organic residues, closes the circle.
