Energy transition is also needed in off-grid rural areas
Associations
In the ongoing debate over emission reduction and the need to use alternative energy sources, rural areas are often ignored. Few are aware of the fact that in Europe as many as 114 million people live in rural areas that are not connected to the power grid. Consequently, the energy transition that is often discussed is also, and above all, necessary in these areas. Companies like SHV Energy, which has been working on a dedicated project since 2010, support the adoption of different kinds of sustainable energy, such as biogas, biomethane and bio-LNG. The full details are presented in this video interview and in the attached PDF.
