BSEAA – The project to access sustainable energy in Africa

The BSEAA project - Bioenergy for Sustainable Energy Access in Africa – is part of the TEA (Transforming Energy Access) programme of the UK Government’s Department for International Development. The aim of the project is to incentivise and support the spread of and access to bioenergy technologies in sub-Saharan Africa and southern Asia. To date the BSEAA has reached 10 countries within sub-Saharan Africa, revealing good potential for anaerobic digestion technology.
