(B)pack, the backpack for transporting biogas
Associations
The (B)pack may look like a large inflatable pillow or a comical backpack, but it’s actually a container for storing and transporting biogas. This technology, created by a German social entrepreneurship, is aimed at helping rural communities in developing countries to transform their organic waste, such as manure or food waste, into energy! The container can be connected to a kitchen stove to provide at least eight hours’ cooking time. Katrin Puetz, the founder of (B)energy, tells us all about this and other mobile biogas solutions.
