According to Charlotte Morton, Chief Executive of the World Biogas Association, whom we met at the UNFCCC headquarters in Bonn: “The biogas sector can help reduce global emissions by at least 12%. That’s why it is essential to include it in so-called Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)”. Biogas can certainly give these results as long as governments all over the world remove barriers to growth and fully invest in technology.
