“EUBCE is the world leading event and the biggest conference in the Biomass area. Biomass is part of our low-carbon future”, Prof. Maria da Graça Carvalho, the Conference General Chair of the EUBCE 2019.
This year Portugal, a pioneer country in renewable energy, will host the 27th edition of the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition from 27th to 30th May at the Lisbon Congress Centre – CCL.
EUBCE is organized by ETA-Florence Renewable Energies and is supported by European and international organizations like the European Commission, UNESCO – United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Natural Sciences Sector, EUBIA – the European Biomass Industry Association, WCRE – the World Council for Renewable Energy, and the Technical Programme is coordinated by the European Commission, Joint Research Centre.
With over 1000 selected presentations and over 3700 authors and co-authors from 80 different countries, the upcoming EUBCE will be a meeting place to discuss research and innovation, science and scientific evidence in policy-making in the field of biomass, bioenergy and biomaterials. All these themes will be included in five different topics which will be presented, over the course of four days, through a collection of oral and poster sessions along with parallel workshops.
Like every past edition, EUBCE will combine one of the largest biomass science and technology conferences with a high-quality industry exhibition, which can gather in the same place biomass professionals, research, companies and industrial exhibitors from all over the world in one of the most well-known and successful international events.
