The non-profit organisation for which Michael Lemon is the vice chairman promotes the use of renewable electricity generated by biogas plants to power electric cars, in order to contribute to decarbonisation of the transport sector. In this way a city could combine intelligent waste management, through anaerobic digestion, with a potential market of 12.5 million electric vehicles powered by waste.
