Time is now right for India’s biogas industry
Market and policy
Currently, India counts 4.9 million of small and medium size biogas plants and an installed capacity of around 300MW from the large scale ones. India has, in recent times, brought innovation into its biogas sector by exploring new feedstocks. This, together with the government support and the interest from international players, can lead to big growth opportunities in the country.
