How the State of San Paolo is promoting the production of biogas and biomethane

A programme in favour of biogas was launched in 2012, in consideration of the high production of vinasse and sugar cane. The State of San Paolo is in fact the largest producer of sugar cane in Brazil, and the potential for biogas is therefore extremely high. The Energy Secretary also told us about their commitment to the production of biomethane and the use of urban solid waste.
