CHP: New German Law in force, but still awaiting the OK from the European Commission
Market and policy
The new law entered into force on 1st January 2016. The main advantages: Better energy supply and reduced interest rates or zero for plants above 100kW. At present, however, the issue of payment of incentives and authorisations is being discussed by the European Commission. BAFA has still not granted any authorisation, and therefore no incentive has been provided.
