Biofuels for energy self-sufficiency: two case studies
Sustainable mobility
The use of ethanol produced thanks to anaerobic digestion as a biofuel will probably remain limited as long as conventional materials are used as opposed to those with low carbon content. We look at the example of a pig farm in Australia which is self-sufficient in terms of energy thanks to the installation of five biogas generators and two anaerobic digesters, freeing itself from its dependence on diesel.
