The quality of digestate, together with its price, has a huge impact on obtaining the trust of farmers and increasing their interest in the product, to be considered fundamental for their farming activities. Mush is being done in Scotland to improve the quality, to educate farmers on the right questions to be asked and increase their confidence; from the point of view of the biogas industry, there have been improvements in recent years with regard to investments and new technologies.
