Italy: new inter-ministerial Decree on the agronomic use of digestate

Thanks to the new “Digestate Decree” in force in Italy from 18 April 2016, the digestate produced from agro-zootechnical or agro-industrial biomass is considered to be a sub-product rather than waste. At long last, this measure aligns the rules at national level, overcoming regional differences.
