In Brittany a pig farm warmed by waste from pigs
Case history
In Landivisieu, Brittany, Philippe Ollivier decided to invest in a biogas plant to diversify his farm income, securing a fixed revenue by selling the energy generated by the waste of his pig farm. Thanks to a 150 kWe cogeneration plant, he can transfer electricity to the grid and use the heat to heat the digester and weaning rooms and to dry crops.
